We introduced the both classes to each other. We watched a video about helping the community and each other. We let three kids at a time share their dots. They had a slideshow so we watched it. We had different times. We are three hours later than them. Our time was 2:20 and their was 11:20 in Alaska time. It was such a cool experiment.

INTERNATIONAL DOT DAY
Why is International Dot Day a thing?
International Dot Day is a thing because we need to help out our community and earth. And help every thing that lives on it. It is there because we need to work hard on picking up trash, stopping pollution, and making our world a better place to live in.
The little dot that the little girl did was not good enough for her, but was just what the art teacher wanted. The next day that dot was hanging above the teachers desk and in a frame! Not just any frame but a gold swirl frame that made that little girl’s day. And that is why International Dot Day was born. By Natalie and Jack
We made dots yesterday. Today we had a Skype with Anchorage, Alaska. At 2: 20 our time, their time was 11:20. They showed us a slide show and a video. We showed them our dots. It was so fun. By Jacob
Dot Day
We made our dots and they had color. Some people took longer and some took like 20 minutes. We started to finish up on our dots. Some people finished up. We each cleaned our brushes and cups. We used markers and crayons and paint and colored pencil. We showed our dots to another class in Anchorage Alaska today. They showed their dots to us and they said their names. We said our names and we said kind things that we would do. By Annabelle
This week was international dot week. We painted a piece of paper and it had to have a circle on it. We skyped Anchorage Alaska. We shared how we wanted to make our mark on the world.
